1. Our Privacy Philosophy
QingChuan Toolbox is designed around a single, non-negotiable principle: your data should never leave your computer. Every tool on this site processes files and data locally in your browser using JavaScript and the Canvas API. Nothing is uploaded to any server — not to us, not to a third party, not anywhere. We built it this way not because privacy policies are trendy, but because it's the only architecture that guarantees you can't be tracked, profiled, or compromised through our tools.
This philosophy means we can make promises most websites can't: we literally cannot see your files, your text, or your calculations — even if we wanted to. They never leave your device. This isn't marketing language; it's a technical fact of how client-side processing works.
2. What We Collect (Nothing)
QingChuan Toolbox does not collect, store, process, or share any personal information. Period. Specifically:
- No user accounts: There is no sign-up, no login, no profile. You visit, you use a tool, you leave. We don't know who you are and we don't want to.
- No databases: There is no backend database storing user data, session information, or tool history. Every visit is stateless — your previous use of a tool is invisible to us.
- No file storage: When you use our image tools, your files are loaded into browser memory (RAM) via the FileReader API. They are processed, the result is displayed, and when you close the tab, all memory is released. Nothing persists.
- No keystroke logging: Text you type into our generators stays in your browser's DOM. No keystrokes are transmitted. No "draft saving" to a server. No analytics tracking what you typed.
3. Cookies and Analytics
We use a minimal, privacy-respecting analytics setup through Cloudflare Web Analytics — which does not use cookies, does not track individual users across sites, and does not collect personal data. We see aggregate metrics like total page views and popular tools, but we cannot identify or track individual visitors.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts. You won't find a cookie consent banner on this site because there are no tracking cookies to consent to.
4. Advertising and Third Parties
We display ads through Google AdSense to cover hosting costs. Google AdSense may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this or other websites. These cookies are set by Google, not by us, and are governed by Google's privacy policy — not ours.
You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time through Google Ads Settings, or by visiting aboutads.info to opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies.
Beyond Google AdSense, we do not embed third-party widgets, social media trackers, or external scripts that could collect your browsing data. Every line of code running on this site is either ours or Google's (and you can verify this by inspecting the page source).
5. Data Security
Because all processing happens client-side and no data is ever transmitted, there is no "data breach" scenario in the traditional sense. Your files cannot be leaked from our servers because they were never on our servers. Your tool inputs cannot be exposed in a database breach because there is no database.
The site is served over HTTPS, which encrypts all communication between your browser and our hosting provider. This means that even the fact that you're visiting a specific tool page is encrypted in transit.
6. Children's Privacy
Our tools are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since we don't collect any personal information from anyone, this is more of a formality — but if you believe a child has provided us with personal information (which, again, our architecture makes nearly impossible), contact us immediately.
7. Changes to This Policy
If we ever change how this site handles data — for example, if we add a feature that requires server-side processing — we will update this policy before deploying the change and clearly note what changed and why. The date at the top of this page reflects the last update.
